Piveteau wood pellets are made from sawmill by-products, including sawdust and softwood shavings. These materials are dried, crushed and compressed on our production sites, thus minimizing transport. Compression is done without additives, with wood serving as a natural binder. Our pellets are distinguished by their superior quality thanks to a new low-temperature drying process (80°C). This method allows the wood to retain an optimal calorific value and its original purity.

They guarantee a maximum humidity level of 6.2% and a low ash level of less than 0.3%. These criteria, important when comparing prices, ensure a minimum calorific value of 5.0 kWh/kg.
